Cross Border Electricity Providers Become New Export Engines

Every 35 days, Xie Guangping could not help taking stock of the number of countries that his company had opened up.

In his office on the 4 floor of Chuang Mei Trade Development Co., Ltd. in Hongchuan Road, Dongcheng District, Dongguan, a world map of the whole wall size is densely packed with 163 red flags.

To help him do the "foreign trade weapon" of clothing business throughout the world, that is cross-border electricity supplier.

At present, there are about 3500 cross border electricity supplier enterprises such as Chuang Mei company in Dongguan.

The Ministry of Commerce predicts that by 2016, the total import and export volume of China's cross-border electricity providers will grow to 6 trillion and 500 billion yuan, with an annual growth rate exceeding 30%.

In 2015 1~4, the total import and export volume was 1 trillion and 220 billion US dollars, down 7.6% from the same period last year.

Among them, imports of 532 billion 350 million US dollars, down 17.3%, exports 690 billion 160 million US dollars, only 1.6% growth.

Secretary General Han Jun believes that the weakness of export trade has been revealed 35 years ago or even earlier.

"The key links such as labor quality and industrial chain in these areas are too weak, and enterprises do export processing after they come back."

In recent years, China's export processing industry has been affected by changes in the economic situation in Europe and the United States.
