Finalists Of "Shengzhou Tie Cup" Silk Dress Design Competition Will Be Unveiled

Silk is a symbol of ancient Chinese culture. The ancient silk industry has made a brilliant chapter for the Chinese nation's culture and made an indelible contribution to the development of human civilization.

Chinese silk is famous for its excellent quality, beautiful colors and rich cultural connotations.

This competition is the second silk professional design competition since the 2008 national silk dress design competition, which has received nearly 400 contributions from all over the country.

The theme of the competition is "the new silk road of the city", which is exactly the concept and assumption of the Silk Association's perfect combination of tradition and fashion of silk and the creation of a new fashion of urban silk.

Contestants boldly use various new silk fabrics, and integrate the urban fashion trends and fresh design elements into the design, showing a higher level in the overall conception, production techniques and fabric collocation.

After careful assessment by the expert judges, 71 entries from Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Guangdong and Sichuan will be selected. These finalists will be made to participate in the preliminaries in the late September.

Through the preliminaries, 28-30 outstanding works will be selected for the national finals in Beijing in late October.

The competition is based on silk as the medium, through the national level industry association and the local government's pioneering leaping platform cooperation, to achieve a win-win situation of promoting cultural heritage, industrial development and urban construction.

Competition will reserve talents for famous enterprises

The national silk clothing design competition, under the cooperation of the National Cocoon and silk coordination office, China Fashion Color Association, China Fashion Association, international fashion color Committee and other supporting units, has invited famous professors of domestic fashion designers, distinguished professors from professional institutions, silk industry and fashion authorities to make an evaluation of the entries.

There were 1 gold medals, 2 silver medals, 3 bronze medals, 5 outstanding prizes, and five individual awards: the best creative award, the best fabric Innovation Award, the best costumes collocation prize, the best craft award and the most market potential award.

The finalists will be given the opportunity to make dynamic exhibitions in Beijing, when the leaders of the leading companies will attend the finals to investigate and select reserve talents.

All the entries have the opportunity to be publicizing, publishing and displaying by the organizers. The winning works of the finals are collected by the Shengzhou Municipal People's government.

Small tie brings great industry attention.

The Shengzhou tie industry, which has a history of more than 20 years, has now taken 90% of the national tie market.

Since 1984, the tie industry in Shengzhou has grown from scratch, from small to large, from weak to strong. So far, it has formed a tie industry cluster of "small product market, small area big industry, small enterprise cluster and small government service". A series of honors such as "Chinese tie city", "China Shengzhou tie industry international cooperation base" and "silk products popular trend base" have fully demonstrated the obvious advantages of Shengzhou's tie industry. Nowadays, Shengzhou tie industry is not only a pillar of Shengzhou's national economy, but also a pride of Shengzhou people.

Today, tie industry accounts for 90% of the country's total and 40% of the world's Shengzhou tie industry is actively extending to the two sides of the "smile curve", and has begun to expand to silk, home textiles, knitted apparel and other industries.

Through the national silk clothing design competition, we will further enhance the image of Shengzhou necktie industry, achieve the goal of attracting talents and reserve upstream resources in Shengzhou, and lay the foundation for Shengzhou to further develop the global silk industry cluster.

Jiangnan's Yue Sheng Yin and the unique flavor of Chinese silk are the original intention of the Shengzhou municipal government and the China Silk Association to jointly create the national silk clothing design competition. It is also an important measure to promote the development of the national silk industry, enhance the overall level of Chinese silk and the international competitive power between the industry and the government, and is a full reflection of the sense of responsibility and mission of the two party cooperation in order to inherit silk civilization.
