Myanmar

The garment industry has gained more share in the Japanese market.

If domestic garment enterprises invest in Japan, there should be better development.

According to Japanese customs statistics, Burma's apparel exports to Japan increased by 12% from 133 million US dollars in 2008 to 146 million US dollars in 2009.

Last year, 38% of Burma's total exports of garments were exported to Japan, and Japan became the largest exporter of garments in Burma.

It is understood that although Japan has become the largest exporter of garments in Burma, Japanese businessmen still need to consider infrastructure problems such as electricity and pportation in Burma to invest in Burma.

The labor cost in Burma is lower than that in other neighboring countries, but Burma's backward infrastructure restricts investment in Burma.

The head of the Japanese export organization in Yangon said

Labor shortage

Some factories in eastern China have moved to places like Kampuchea, Laos and Burma.

In addition, China's garment industry is faced with problems such as labor laws, rising wages, rising prices of clothing and raw materials, and improving people's living standards.

At present, factories in the eastern coastal areas of China first choose to move to Bangladesh.

At present, there are 120 garment factories in the whole country, of which only about 20 are exporting garments to Japan.

There are only 4 garment factories in Japan.
